This "hit the space bar" also works for skipping back and forth on top of a teleport gate, dungeon entrance or city entrance without wasting movement points by moving back and forth. *how? Put a hero on top of the mine, hit the space bar. Then the enemy is taking an actual risk of losing something if you catch his hero with a superior force. If an enemy hero with a tiny army is roaming around you can leave a small garrison at various mines and force the opponent to send a REAL army. Instead, have a few secondary heroes with fairly weak armies (but strong enough to take out nuisance heroes) that are used to defend your territory against incursion by nuisance heroes. ![]() Using your main offensive hero to chase these heroes down is a waste of that hero's movement. DarrkPhoenix: Something to keep in mind with regards to strategy is that the computer tends to create a lot of "nuisance" heroes- basically weak heroes with almost no armies that it simply sends around to grab your mines.
